Η εκτιθέμενη συλλογική δουλειά είναι το αποκορύφωμα 8 ημερών εντατικής έρευνας βαθιά στους ιστούς της Κεφαλονιάς — στις ακτές της, στα βουνά της, στα αρχεία, στα μουσεία και τις εκκλησίες της. Η πρόκληση μας προτείνει να σκεφτούμε την ανθρώπινη κατάσταση, τις συνέργειές μας με τα φυτά, τα ζώα, την ύλη γύρω μας και αυτούς με τους οποίους χτίζουμε ζωές με νόημα και σκοπό. Η ΣΥΝΑΝΘΗΣΗ χρησιμοποιεί το υλικό, την αποτύπωση του κεριού και τις εγκαυστικές τεχνικές για να προβληματισθεί πώς το νόημα δημιουργείται και πως στη συνέχεια διαχέεται στην εμπειρία της Κοινότητας.

This collaborative work is the culmination of 8 intensive days deep in the tissues of Kefalonia—on its coasts, in its mountains, in its archives, museums, and churches. Our challenge is to think about the human condition, our synergies with plants, animals, the matter around us, and those with whom we build lives of meaning and purpose. ΣΥΝΑΝΘΗΣΗ uses the material and metaphor of wax and encaustic techniques to think about how this meaning is both created and dispersed within the experience of community.
