A deep “thank” to everyone who voted for me giving me the 28th place among the 100 women in the world related to the Sea and Shipping.
This distinction is related to the long-lasting study and research -since 1992- I have done for the Kefallonian seafarer Ioannis Fokas (known as Juan de Fuca), as well as to his participation in the Naval Battle of Lepanto, and in general, the unknown role played by the Greeks in this victorious result that changed the history of all Europe.
